Qualification of motor vehicle drivers

Summary/Abstract: The article introduces us to some basic and specific requirements for drivers of motor vehicles,aimed at ensuring their safe and independent driving on the roads. These requirements determine tosome extent the qualifications of the drivers, or in other words the level of preparation. Improvingthe qualifications of drivers would contribute to greater reliability and safety in driving vehicles,which would have a positive impact on road safety. Next, the relationship between thequalifications of motor vehicle drivers and traffic injuries was established. New drivers with up totwo years of experience show increased risk when driving vehicles, and they more often than othersbecome the cause of traffic accidents. In this regard, proposals have been made, both for increasing the qualifications of drivers, and also for stricter reporting and control regarding the registration of traffic accidents.
