Control of foreigners drivers of motor vehicles

Summary/Abstract: The article acquaints us with some of the peculiarities of the control of foreign drivers. In this regard, some of the basic principles in the international movement of road vehicles are discussed, as well as the legal framework governing these public relations. A special place is assigned to the legal regime of foreign drivers of motor vehicles driving on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria. The main groups of foreign leaders are differentiated, depending on their status: persons enjoying diplomatic and consular immunity, as well as foreign citizens without a permanent address in the country. The necessary documents for driving motor vehicles on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria are also presented. Special attention is also paid to citizens holding driving licenses issued by EU Member States.
