Summary/Abstract: Mysticism of Islam is derived from the Islamic faith and studying of Koran, the main textual source of Islam. Considering that Koran is the word of God for Sufi mystics, it is in theory unchangeable and eternal, and therefore the basic source of faith and law. Its nomocentric character suggests to the faithful with emphasis calling of Allah’s name with strict discipline and submission without reserve to its spiritual teacher. Even though Sufism contains neoplatonic, Christian, Gnostic, and Indian elements of faith it has succeeded, as a spiritual and reforming movement in Islam, not only to acquire followers from North Africa to Iran, but also to develop practical religiousness specific for Islam and divinity as a new “science of the heart” in which a Sufi tends to realize the experience of divine unity. The goal of Sufi in Islam is to remain forever, even after death, united with Allah, in the state of complete and uninterrupted unity, which has been addressed by a famous Sufi poet in the following way: “Like a man, once again, I will take a final breath, so I can fly with the blessed angels; but even then from heavens I must go, as everything but God will pass. When I renounce my angel soul I will resurrect into what mind is not meant to conceive. Oh, let me not be! As Inexistence heralds stridently, toItwereturn”(Rumi)!
