Summary/Abstract: Islam is the last great monotheistic religion in the Middle East that had been given to the world, after Christianity and Judaism, by the inexhaustible spiritual wellof the Semitic East. Undisputed influence of Judaism and Christianity in formulation of the Mohammed's religious consciousness are present in the Koran, which is the greatest miracle and proof of Allah's omnipotence for Muslims, because the Quran decended to the „last faithful herald of Islam“ as Allah's perfect revelation and the Word of God itself. As Christianity is the only religion that God revealed to people through perfect and embodied the anthropic Personality of our Lord Christ, so is the Koran for Muslim believers textually formulated Word of God. Therefore the Koran is for the Arabs not only the unsurpassed linguistic construction of the Allah, but also an unrivalled masterpiece of world culture and civilization, since the Word of God continues to be interpreted in the world. That is why the Quran, with all its images and symbols which are heavily marked by biblical and apocryphal-midra tradition, can be understood as a linguistic event, still revealed to the world.
