Summary/Abstract: The author deals with the direction of professional police education in the sphere of police work in multicultural society in his contribution. The police are usually the first-contact state institution that other ethnics meet when they face any problems. The police themselves must be ready enough for the work in multicultural society that establishes gradually in the Czech Republic. The author also pays his attention to possible problems that can appear when implementing police education and notices some experience from foreign countries as well.
