Summary/Abstract: This is a recount of the story of Sorin Valeriu, a student at the Naval School, on his voyage with MIRCEA in 1926. The series of stories With the sail and the wind (Voyage notes with MIRCEA), published in the newspaper DACIA, completes the history of MIRCEA written by professor Valentin Ciorbea. His memories, full of sensibility and teenager spirit are combined with his keen observations and his knowledge. Beyond pure events of the trip itself, the author tells the history, legends and geography of each place visited.
