FINANCING OF POLITICAL PARTIES THROUGH DONATIONS, LEGACIES AND OTHER LIBERALITIES

Summary/Abstract: Financing of political parties through donations, legacies and other liberalities constitutes a subject that knows a wide and detailed regulation, both at national and international level. The complexity of the subject, added to the insufficient information of the citizens, determines that the problem it involves is not well known. The present study proposes the analysis of some of the ways of financing political parties, namely through donations, legacies and other liberalities, revealing the normative framework, as well as regulatory gaps, foreshadowing future legislative amendments in this regard.
