Summary/Abstract: In the collection of the Upper Palaeolithic settlement Anetіvka II there are angle burins with transverse burin blow. This type of tool is distinguished only on blades. The striking platform for knapping a burin blow is parallel, and the burin blow itself is located perpendicular or inclined to the blade’s debitage axis. We can assume both purposeful manufacturing and accidental origin in certain technological processes of manufacturing angle transverse burins.
