Summary/Abstract: The modern educational paradigm brings to the forefront the requirement for enriching the professional profile of the modern teacher. It faces the challenge of expanding the scope of its professional competence by hierarchically building on basic pedagogical skills and competencies aimed at adapting teaching methods and learning content in order to effectively integrate children with special educational needs. to the educational environment in mass school practice.One of the tasks we set ourselves was to establish the level of competence of general education teachers to recognize the strengths of students with special educational needs and the ability to adapt the curriculum to their individual capabilities in an inclusive environment.
