Globalization, internationalization and localization in specialized translation

Summary/Abstract: My main responsibility as certified translator-interpreter is expressing different meanings (referential, pragmatic and intra-linguistic) which might stay in the translation, aiming at having as little semantic loses as possible. The mandatory condition during all this complex process of creation is the fair delimitation of different types of meanings, specifically which of those are to be treated as a priority and which do not, given the context. That is why, the highest translation level is the referential one (as the objective reality is more or less the same). The pragmatic meaning is being subjected to transposition as, even if there are same realities described the attitude of different communities towards them is different. And, eventually, the intra-linguistic meaning, which has the minimum degree of transposition. In this way, for legal economic, technique and scientific texts the information is codified mainly referentially, while in the artistic texts the pragmatic level is more important. That being said, I, as certified Translator-Interpreter, will focus on a global investigation of relations and procedures system between globalization, internationalization, localization to clearly see the referential meaning of the object text.
