Procurement Logistics Based on Enterprise X

Summary/Abstract: The article presents issues related to supply logistics management on the example of the production company X. Company X is a Polish branch of an international group that has been operating on the market for almost 20 years. The publication consists of 4 parts. The first part covers the main objectives of the company and a description of its logistics processes. The second part presents the procurement process and quality requirements for purchased materials and raw materials. The following sections present the process of selecting a supplier and defining the purchasing strategy according to the Kraljica model. The article defines measures and indicators of the effectiveness of the procurement process. The article was prepared on the basis of literature and a case study of company X.
