Educational difficulties of children through the lens of a migrant family

Summary/Abstract: Migration of parents contributes to the separation from children, which may have an impact on their functioning in many environments, including family one, which is one of the fundamental areas of their functioning. It seems interesting, then, what kinds of the educational difficulties do the children from the migrant families display in their behaviour in the family environment? The answer to this question was the aim of the undertaken research. Material and methods: The research involved 187 children whose parents were migrating for work, 158 parents, 29 supervisors and 87 teachers. The method of the diagnostic survey and the individual cases was used.
