Summary/Abstract: This essay aims to shed some light on the works of a discreet, but complex personality of contemporary Romanian literature, Rodica Braga, whose creations reveal a never ceasing biographical alchemy, from confession and self-expression to self-fictionalization. We will thus attempt to interpret these identity games and try to establish the relation between the writer and the fictional alter-ego through Autofiction, the most personal form of egocentric literature, a textual-hybrid that came to light to complete a literary void, the open space between autobiography and fiction, where the writer assumes a multiple role, as a character, narrator and author, as Rodica Braga does in her autofiction, Anul 2000. Simple exerciții de sinceritate.
