Summary/Abstract: The phenomenon of globalization has had a range of repercussions, such as a wide presence of anglicisms, borrowed by numerous languages. Therefore, the topic of this study is to describe the process of penetration of English origin words in Romanian, which comes along with advantages and disadvantages. The area of focus is the realm of advertising, with campaigns that included such English terminology.
