Summary/Abstract: The northern part of Serbia, Vojvîdine Region, is known for its large number of ethnic groups that inhabit it. This is the result of centuries of migration of different people that were going to the territory of Vojvodina and from the area. During the historical migration in the 18th and 19th centuries, some of the immigrant ethnic groups to develop specific activities in this area. Today, the industry structure by ethnic groups has changed significantly to meet the needs of modern society. The population of the majority ethnic group is engaged in the processing industry, trade and agriculture. Further activities are underrepresented in most ethnic groups.
