Summary/Abstract: In this article the author created a mini history of Gračanica following the traces of the street names in Gračanica during the wartime period 1992-1995. His goal was to briefly explain all 17 featured, out of 125 currently named streets from that period. He methodically sorted all texts, going from general to individual terms and names. They are arranged so that they can be read in fragments, during a short stroll through the streets of this city. Arranged in this way, the texts are a reflection of the war in Gračanica, they provide a lot of information for those who didn’t know of these things, or others which have forgotten them, so they can be reminded. These explanations and information, put together in one whole, give a more or less complete picture of a local urban environment of that time, but also of the wider area. The second question is whether this period is sufficiently or insufficiently represented.
