Summary/Abstract: The natural curiosity of children, the innate instinct for exploration, as well as the thirst for knowledge must be taken into account when designing the learning environment of the classroom. We warn about something that could have the opposite effect. The desire to provide the child with a wide variety of materials, in accordance with his needs and interests, leads to the "mall effect" (Gillian McNamee, Chicago), by overloading the classrooms. Overloading with materials, instead of motivating children, and stimulating their curiosity and desire to engage in creative learning activities, will lead to fatigue and a lack of interest and enthusiasm for learning activities. In order to carry out the child's education and training in order to "shape the personality in all its defining components" (A. Glava, & C. Glava, 2002), the educator must be concerned with creating an educational environment rich in experiences, comfortable and optimizing, attractive in terms of material endowment and suitable for learning situations.
