Generational changes have had and still have a significant impact on how do Poles communicate. Each of the analyzed generations, which is a segment of buyers, is characterized by attachment to other products and services. The article uses the results of a study commissioned by the company Interactive Intelligence. The aim of this study was to diagnose the differences in Poles’ communication habits: socalled generation Y (18–31 years) compared with older generations – the generation X (32–46 years) and the generation of baby boomers (47–55 years).

Are there customers consuming widely available good education, if there are still young people aspiring to a group of intelligence? Can take up studies just to have a better start in the labor market, can treat them as an opportunity to develop themselves and science? An analysis of the literature and the results of surveys of selected students of Adam Mickiewicz University show that students treat period of study as his way of life and career. The studies is for them sometimes delaying entry into „adulthood”.

W artykule zaprezentowano spojrzenie na nauczyciela akademickiego z perspektywy jakości jego pracy oraz kryteriów, którym musi on sprostać. Autorka zwraca uwagę na fakt, iż nauczyciel akademicki musi posiadać konkretne umiejętności, dlatego też jego praca podlega ciągłej ewaluacji, wydawana jest opinia na temat wartości działań podejmowanych przez nauczyciela akademickiego poprzez systematyczne zbieranie i analizowanie informacji o nim w odniesieniu do znanych celów i kryteriów. Ona/on musi być jednocześnie naukowcem, nauczycielem, innowatorem oraz organizatorem własnej pracy. Łączenie tak wielu ról i zadań nie jest proste. Dlatego nasuwa się pytanie: Czy możliwe jest jednoczesne wykonywanie tych wszystkich działań skutecznie (efektywnie). Autorka zauważa i interpretuje wyczuwalną (widoczną) różnicę pomiędzy implikowanymi wizjami o mądrej, dojrzałej osobowości nauczyciela/naukowca i oczekiwanymi, wymiernymi wysiłkami w dziedzinie badań, edukacji i innowacji do praktyki w kontekście epokowych zmian w obrębie zadań i funkcji edukacji oraz edukacyjnej roli uczelni i edukacji w społeczeństwie z perspektywy oddziaływania wiedzy o problemie, refl eksji i autorefl eksji praktykującego nauczyciela akademickiego w Republice Słowackiej.

In the text I am seeking the answer of a question about conditions and possibilities of functioning homo academicus at the university formed by the homo oeconomicus, according to the rules of neoliberalism. Both are ideal types (in the sense of M. Weber). Taking it as a frame of this text is a consequence of presence of these concepts in the debate on the condition of the university. Differences between them help to see the tensions, in particular between the orientation towards research and learning and the orientation towards the profi t, the opposition of the academic and the market discourse, as well as humanistic and economic paradigm. These tensions affect of the research and educational teleology. In this text I am trying to pinpoint conditions of experiencing the trouble and enslaving, peculiar to both perfect types and in that theoretical frame I seek the possibility and chances of coping by subjects of the university with these restrictions. In the end are questions for conditions of co-existing of these two types at the university of nowadays.

He also presents opinions of candidates for primary school education teachers on realization of music education classes in practice, as well as the teachers’ approach to music education within the frames of the model of integrated education. The article presents the picture of complementary human development, that is, the simultaneous vertical and horizontal development, in which, beside thinking and purposeful acting, between worse to better from a certain point of view (individual or social), there is a multi-directional and ambiguous model of the development , involved in a variety of the development and oscillations traps between what is individual and what is social, which is a development “in plus” and which “in minus”. Hence, every development requires a real cost connected with its opposite. This means that no development can be placed in the strict framework “from - to”, but only in the context of dynamic, which are always complementary composition of genetic and cultural, spontaneous and organized elements.

The topic of this article is focused on presenting existing connections between universities and museums in Poland. It discovers mutual tasks and opportunities arising from a joint cooperation between these institutions. The aim of the publication is primarily a dissemination of museums’ educational mission. Addditonal element of the article is outlining museums’ informative function related to opportunities given to Polish pegagogues, graduates and students. Information contained in this article should also encourage readers to visit museums, to take a part in the museum programmes or to implement innovative didactic actions in academic curriculum.

The sports environment has its specifi city, values, particularities, nature. Humanistic to fi nd his dimension it is possible in values which in world of sport will matter greatly both in the life of individual competitors, sports clubs and societies, and in very sports idea, recreation, tourism. In hereby drawing up we answered questions: how does the specifi city of living in the given sports group look?; what values are characteristic of individual sports circles?; what negative features which are destroying the humanistic element of sport, are letting notice in certain sports groups themselves?; what methods can turn out to be effective in humanizing sports circles? At the work a phenomenological method was applied, which most generally including the thing to the honest examined description phenomena, a hermeneutic method, a thanks are being get of which for application it is possible to get to know meanings of collected contents and the method of the diagnostic survey into the solid way along with technicians of holding talks, interview, conducting a survey. Examined persons it: PE teachers, athletes, coaches, academic teachers AWF and students of directions the physical education and sport - altogether 180 persons. Getting to know the value, action and attitudes which are current in sports circles, was a main purpose of the work and which are deciding on humanistic character of sport.

The aim of this thesis is to Þ nd an answer to the following question: Are doctoral studies still regarded as studies for selected applicants and what is the impact of market facilitation of education on the process of education of young scientists. The text is also shown how the media create the image of contemporary higher education through numerous publications in this Þ eld and shown to what extent the picture tern match the test results obtained.
