Summary/Abstract: Nowadays, pretending to study is one of the plagues in the student environment. Against this background, it is important to know the degree of involvement of students in the self-education process at the university and its factors. Knowledge in this Þ eld have been gained from the statements of last year students of pedagogy at the Masters programme. The resulting conclusions raise many questions about the future of the current generation and they lead to reß ect on the condition of higher education.
