Bevezetés a rövid tartamú lelkigondozásba Rolf Theobold Kurzzeit-Seelsorge. Ein Praxisbuch című könyve alapján. II. rész

Author(s): Eszter Nagy / Language(s): Hungarian Issue: 6/2022

The central question of the book by Rolf Theobold is: how can we engage in pastoral conversations that aim to solve problems, despite the short time available? Another truth regarding the practice of short-term pastoral care is that every journey begins with taking the first step. Neither the counsellor, nor the counselee can expect an instant solution for all problems in one go. An initial impulse is needed on the way to a solution, so the main focus will not be on an immediate cure, but on an immediate word of encouragement and support. According to Gunther Schmidt, feedback on the experiences gained on the way to a solution is just as important as the acceptance that a changed perception of the problem is already leading to real change. We also need to learn the tendency towards developing solutions, similarly to the qualities we learn from birth. In addition to the many practical suggestions in Rolf Theobold’s book, it is also necessary to reflect on the author’s own conviction that short-term pastoral care cannot be limited to superficial “think positive” (good) advice, but also requires a deep faith and trust in God.

Hramul Iașului: ,,Ce minunată gazdă a fost Sfânta Parascheva!" (14 octombrie 2021)

Author(s): Tudorel-Constantin Rusu / Language(s): Romanian Issue: 3/2021

Although the pandemic context had imposed a number of specific restrictions, Saint Venerable Parascheva was celebrated on the 14th of October 2021 with great piety and reverence in Jassy by faithful arrived from all over the country and from abroad. Near the reliquary keeping the holy relics of the Protectress of Moldova was also set, for the pilgrim's reverence, the reliquary keeping the holy relics of Saint George the Pilgrim, whose canonization was proclaimed in 2018. The Holy Liturgy devoted to the Dedication Day of the Metropolitan Cathedral in the capital of Moldova was celebrated by His Eminence Father Teofan, Archbishop of Jassy and Metropolitan of Moldova and Bucovina, co-served by other seventeen hierarchs, assisted by a large group of priests and deacons. The faithful participated in the holy service standing in especially demarcated zones, so as not to dub together large groups of persons. At the end of the Liturgy, His Eminence Father Teofan, within the context of the year 2021 being declared by the Romanian Patriarchate as Homage year of the pastoral activity of the Romanians from outside Romania, awarded prizes to four families who had undergone the experience of living in the diaspora.

Изкуственият интелект и ST(R)EAM обучението

Author(s): Marina Petrova,Zdravka Georgieva,Todorka Dobreva / Language(s): Bulgarian Issue: 23/2024

The paper presents an innovative multidisciplinary ST(R)EAM project related to Artificial Intelligence (AI), which is being implemented in the academic year 2023-2024 at the Professional High School of Electrical Engineering and Electronics - Plovdiv (PGEE - Plovdiv) with 156 students from 9th, 10th and 11th grade. The project was selected as the National Winner in the DIGITAL EXCELLENCE category of the 7th National STEM Science Competition in Bulgaria 2024. The goals of the project include students acquiring and improving their ST(R)EAM skills and key competencies for the 21st century, using their knowledge and skills in English, Information Technology and Programming, in relation to the highly popular topic of AI. The design and implementation of the project was prompted by students sharing that they are increasingly using AI on a regular basis to complete their tasks in and out of school. But for technology to be a good assistant, the person using it needs to have a good understanding of both the advantages and risks it poses. In order to overcome the established (now considered monotonous and boring) model in which the teacher one-sidedly presents information on a given problem, the team of teachers decided to use approaches in which the students are the active party and reach conclusions that would be useful to them when using AI in their daily lives. Therefore, the project included activities such as discussions, involvement of students in national competitions and forums related to AI, and creation of argumentative texts (essays) on a topic related to AI. The activity of the students and the essays they produced at the end of the project give the authors reason to believe that they have largely met the project objectives.

Проектно-базирано обучение и STE(A)M подход в урока по компютърно моделиране “Конструиране на разклонени алгоритми” в четвърти клас

Author(s): Maria Karabalieva / Language(s): Bulgarian Issue: 23/2024

The aim of the article is to demonstrate how project-based learning and the STE(A)M approach can be used to enhance students' digital skills and their creative and social development. Through working with smart devices, students acquire practical skills with real-world applications in the educational process and future professional life. Teamwork encourages collaboration, respect for differences, and joint problem-solving. The "Smart Fan" project successfully illustrates the application of branching algorithms to create functional devices. Integrating project-based lessons and experiential learning in computer modeling in third grade can have multiple benefits for students. Some of the main benefits include: stimulating active learning; development of computer skills; stimulating creative thinking; preparation for future technological challenges; develop problem solving; experiential learning. The project "Dance the code of the right dance" is adapted to the educational content of several subjects and topics:• Man and Society – Society;• Fine art - Cherga;• STEM programming - Project "Emotional Pedometer";• Computer modeling - Repetitive actions. Cycle;• Physical education and sport - Right dance;• English language - Colors. The teaching methods are problem-based learning and learning through inquiry/experiential learning. Training takes place in an online development environment https://makecode.microbit.org/ and lessons are structured and delivered to students in Google Classroom. Students in the class learn on a 1:1 model (one device for each student) and each child is provided with a Micro:bit board. The idea of the activity is that, through interdisciplinary connections, the students will see in practice the applicability of algorithms and that the standard model of teaching will be broken by using the arts.
