The aim of this article is to show the influence of crisis on behavior of polish households. Economic factors are most important barrier in tourism traffic, but many another noneconomic considerations have immense impact on polish consumers. They can significantly change the situation. Publication shows expenditures on tourism polish consumers and displays the statistical data concerning tourism. Another goal is to explain the situation in expenditures on tourism referring to economy recession. Article attempts also make the forecast about future situation in tourism in terms of crisis. The result of forecast shows gradually growth of tourist movements of polish households until 2015 year. It means economic growth for hotels, gastronomy sector or travel agencies.
