The Covid 19 pandemic, is a period with a strong impact in all areas of the families, their social, economic, political and educational life. The rules and sanitary measures to prevent the spread of the pandemic, the educational policies, as well as the isolation, quarantine of some teachers, imposed the transition from classical education to online one. This transition, and also the need for digitalization, have led to major changes in teaching activity and implicitly have affected the well-being of teachers. The present study investigates the psychological reactions of 73 teachers as well as the effectiveness of a psychological intervention applied to 15 teachers, who showed severe psychological reactions during the pandemic period. The motivation of the study derives from the need to offer quick methods and techniques for managing the emotional states they went through. The psychological intervention model presented in the article, aims to reduce the symptoms of stress, anxiety and depression that teachers experience during a pandemic situations, and also to help them apply psychological intervention techniques to regain their well-being).

The article reveals the use of postmodernism as a style of thinking and a special view of contemporaneity as an interpretive basis for understanding present-day university education and understanding the prospects for its development in new conditions. The emphasis is based on three characteristics of the postmodern paradigm: change in the status of knowledge in society; non-structural, non-linear way of organizing integrity, excluding rigid centralization, orderliness and symmetry; a special model of contemporaneity, which does not allow the imposition of life guidelines and values on a person. It is shown that the situation of postmodernism has led to new phenomena in university education, which have changed the traditional status and mission of the university. There was a tendency towards the mass character of university education, which, by expanding accessibility, contributed to a decrease in its quality. The change in the status of knowledge in society has led to the commercialization of education, which puts on threat the academic freedom and autonomy of the university, which becomes dependent on the “order” for educational services. Teaching strategies and educational strategies of students are changing; the level of their interconnection and interdependence is decreasing. It is noted that the modernization of higher education determines the formation of a new university – the university at risk and actualizes the task of predicting systematically emerging risks and dangers and developing measures to level or limit their negative impacts.

The article elaborates on an interactive approach to language learning applied in an online EFL classroom. It presents a new insight into implementing interactive methods to develop students’ communicative competence. In conditions of world integration, the formation of communicative and life skills is indispensable. Eventually, such an approach to English language learning in distance mode is the most accessible way for teacher-learner(s) interaction to acquire general linguistic expertise and upgrade specific language skills. The study results show that an interactive approach facilitates live communication in online EFL settings, enhances learners’ motivation and autonomy, and fosters quick decision-making reactions. Modern computer technologies offer boundless opportunities for interactive methods application in the online foreign language learning context. A skillful instructor is called to masterly plan computer-mediated classroom activities, creating space to realize each student’s cognitive and communicative potential fully. Students learn to debate, substantiate their viewpoints, brainstorm ideas, do projects, work individually or collaborate in comfortable learning settings.

Perfectionism amongst young children is a phenomenon that has just recently become a topic for research. In a highly competitive society, orientation towards performance and the attainment of very high standards coincide with the necessity to create a perfect “self” for the child. In this context dominated by the interest to create optimised children, we can talk about the development of a type of behaviour with perfectionist tendencies, whose consequences have started to draw the researchers’ attention during the past decades. Although perfectionism can be both positive and negative, research findings have shown that there are numerous factors that contribute to the development of maladaptive perfectionism in children, even from an early school age. The purpose of this research was to focus on the positive side of this personality trait by measuring the connection between the independent variable of perfectionism and the dependent variable of school performance, by also taking into consideration variables such as the parents’ influence and the competitive spirit in the educational background. To this effect, the instrument we used to measure positive perfectionism was the Questionnaire on Orderliness [Q3 factor: Perfectionism] on a sample of 101 participants, both parents and children, whereas the instrument we used for competitiveness was the Competitiveness Scale Questionnaire [HICs] on a sample of 51 subjects, consisting only of fourth graders. The obtained data were organized in Excel spreadsheets based on the Pearson correlation coefficient, in order to establish the connection between the variables. The main result of this research is that the subjects focus on quantitative results and on developing strategies to get higher grades, rather than on an efficient learning process. This study has opened up numerous research opportunities on the topic of perfectionism in the young schoolchildren.

This study sets to explore the impact of Emotional Intelligence and work-life balance on the quality of life at work. The study champion consists of the workers of various public and private enterprises in the city of Tirana. Participants in this study were a young group, newly acquainted with work and as such may still be in an effort to balance not only work-family conflicts but also to manage emotional intelligence in the workplace. The results showed that there is no correlation between EI and Work-Family Conflict (WFC). However, it turns out that there is a statistically significant correlation in the negative value between emotional intelligence conflicts and work family (WFC) conflicts. The study also found a statistically significant correlation in workers participating in this study, related to Emotional Intelligence of Workers and Quality of Life. Emotional intelligence, work-family conflicts, and quality of life in workers in this study presented a statistically important correlation with variables such as gender, education, duration in current work, and work experience as a whole, thus proving all three hypotheses. Referring to the results of this study, it would be appropriate to develop studies addressing a large number of champions, as well as differentiated into one or two separate sectors. This can provide more knowledge about the variables taken in the study. This may provide more insight into the results obtained in the study.

Learning any type of material or any activity can be a burden for an individual. If we are dealing with individuals at younger age periods, then that burden becomes even heavier. Practice shows that students are generally not willing to learn, and there are more and more educators who are dissatisfied with the way students learn at all age levels. We should look for the result of dissatisfaction in the causes, and the task of educators should be to instruct students to primarily learn to learn. Dissatisfaction should be sought in the causes, and the task of educators would be to instruct students to primarily learn to learn. The goal of the paper is a consistent theoretical review of learning to learn, viewed through a kind of "binocular" of the author for the analysis of the problems of learning to learn, based on "listening" to practice. Using the method of theoretical analysis, we elaborated the theoretical foundations and performed an analysis of the available literature on the issue of learning to learn, observing the same in its way through permanence, determinism, integrative, multi-layered dimension, and intellectual education. reviewing the literature that deals with the issue of learning, we tried to point out the importance of the same, to develop theoretical foundations that will help all those who are engaged in educational work in developing awareness of the importance and popularization of this issue on the one hand, and on the other hand, it can represent a foundation for some future research.

The realization of inclusive education at the preschool age is an important effort within the school system of a country. It has been established that inclusive education has a stimulating effect on children with disabilities, as well as on typically developing children. Because of this, it is necessary to start with its realization at the preschool age. The paper presents the results of empirical research conducted on a sample of 763 parents of children attending preschool institutions in the territory of eastern and southeastern Serbia, which were collected using an assessment scale specially constructed for this research. Bearing in mind the importance of the formation of positive attitudes of parents as key actors in the upbringing of typically developing children, who should represent to their children a model of adequate behavior towards persons with developmental disabilities, the research aims to examine the attitudes of parents about inclusion in the system of state preschool institutions. It was established that the majority of parents recognize the most significant advantages of inclusion and the prerequisite for achieving inclusion in the context of institutional preschool education. When it comes to obstacles to achieving inclusive education, it was found that parents recognize them to a lesser extent. Also, it was established that there are statistically significant differences in parents' responses to certain items concerning the variables of gender, age, and level of education. The findings of this research can represent a good starting point for improving existing institutional practice in the context of inclusive education.

Traditionally, the academic community was a small but influential group of intellectuals more closely associated with their field of study than any university or college. Such elements as individual viewpoints, belonging to a community, collaboration in commonly realised goals, academic freedom, and university autonomy were respected (Billot). Currently, the academic community is a specific type of community, which, as Zygmunt Bauman notes, agreeing with Benedict Anderson, is treated as “a figment of the imagination” (34). Unlike in the past, this community works both locally and internationally, being involved in various networks of scholars and institutions. As a result, academic space nowadays has a less physical dimension and refers to the sphere of values, symbols, and meanings, and the community gathers around the thoughts and ideas of distinguished academics (Rogalski 32). In the 1950s, the academic community became a subject of interest in various university narratives, representing the uniqueness of multiple aspects of university life and practices and making critical use of them. In this article, I will concentrate on such aspects: makeup, internal organisation, way of life, affairs, and customs of the academic community.

The needs and demands of the labour market indicate a shortage of many occupations, among which there are often different profiles in the field of engineering and technology. Since children should be encouraged and directed towards such professions already in elementary school, it is certain that their attitudes and interests can be influenced by school education. Therefore, in this paper, an investigation and analysis of students' attitudes and interests towards career development in the field of engineering and technology was conducted. The study was conducted on a stratified sample (N = 2155) of primary school students. The analysis includes gender and age differences in their direct interest, attitudes toward occupations, experience levels, and career aspirations. The t-test and one-way ANOVA with Scheffé post-hoc tests were used to analyse the collected data. The results show that they are very interested in activities related to engineering and technology and that they understand the reasons for choosing a career in this field. However, there are significant gender and age differences in their own aspirations and perceptions regarding these occupations, as well as in their experiences. At the same time, girls are significantly less interested in careers, experiences and activities in technology compared to boys. Although students in lower grades are more interested in engineering and technology, they are less likely to pursue activities, jobs, and careers in this field compared to students in higher grades. These findings point to the need to adapt content and activities to appeal equally to girls and boys, including changing pedagogical approaches, teaching styles, and more investigation and design activities in the classroom. Age adaptation requires changes in curriculum implementation, particularly in computer science instruction, more meaningful hands-on activities, investigation, and integrated activities, and more time for such activities in the primary school curriculum.

Survival is a type of human activity that takes place in dangerous extreme situations. The Global factors of the situations are the danger and difficulty that are mutually determined. An integral function of danger is the risk, and the difficulty is the effort. As the level of danger and difficulty increases, the adaptation to the growing activity is disrupted. With a very high degree of danger, the probability of loss of life increases considerably, and the need for survival arises. For this purpose it is necessary to form an adequate readiness for survival, which structure is built by mental, physical, technical and tactical readiness.

The philosophy for children (P4C) approach is an educational movement that has developed over the years to become a substantial movement with great influence in the educational fields and in many educational systems in the world and is a pedagogical basis in these systems for both students and adults. A central goal of this movement is the advancement of the students' thinking, centered on the creative, critical, cooperative, and caring types of thinking in order to prepare them to be successful citizens in the future community life in the rapidly developing world. At the same time, the importance of creative thinking increased quickly over the years, and soon occupied an essential place in various areas of life. Within all varieties of philosophy for, or with children, the vehicle to their specific forms of thinking is the community of dialogical inquiry, a tight-knit group of like minded co-philosophers bound together by philosophical friendship whose essence is represented by the communitarian element. Because of the great and increasing importance of creative thinking in the educational field, a comprehensive study was carried out that examined the perception of science and technology teachers in the Arab elementary schools in Israel of seven of the central dimensions of creative thinking, with the teachers' perception of the factors that foster creative thinking at the center. Hence, examining the teachers' perception will form the basis for planning and carrying out any move required to advance the various educational goals. 313 teachers participated in the study who answered a questionnaire that was prepared and validated by content experts, went through a pilot, and was found to be very reliable so that it constitutes a solid research base on which to base findings and conclusions. A key conclusion arising from the part of the questionnaire with the 12 statements that examined the teachers' perception of the factors that foster creative thinking is that significant and many changes are required in the education systems, educational policies, curricula, methods, tools, and the teaching, learning and assessment environments to promote creative thinking. This article briefly describes the research process carried out for the purpose of examining the teachers' perception of the factors that foster students' creative thinking, presents the main findings and conclusions, and mainly discusses in detail how the Philosophy for Children (P4C) approach can be a significant way that enables the promotion of students' creative thinking based on the research findings and conclusions of examining the teachers' perception of the factors that foster students' creative thinking.

The pandemic, the abrupt suspension of the state of alert, the war in Ukraine and the socio-economic crisis it has created, have taken a heavy toll on all of us, and we are still feeling the negative effects! Rapid changes in the situation, the risk of illness and loss of life, experiencing illness or loss of loved ones, isolation, lack of access to cultural activities, online or hybrid schooling, anxiety and depression have had and continue to have a negative impact on the development of children and adults alike. In such a context, the motivation for learning activity of young schoolchildren has often decreased as has their ability to concentrate and perform academically. The quality of teaching-learning-assessment has decreased and teachers' performance has also changed substantially. Conflicts between children, parents and teachers have multiplied and school seems to have become a torment for everyone.

Considered a 'silent emotion', boredom is not often seen as a topic worthy of study in terms of school problems faced by children. But is it really that quiet? We hear so often from students nowadays that they are bored, whether we are talking about school situations, time spent at home or even when they are in groups of friends. Based on a sample of over 1800 children in Romania during the pandemic period (2021), the present research was initiated by the interest to investigate boredom and its correlates among children. We conducted a secondary analysis of data collected through the international survey "Child well-being in Romania". The results of the present quantitative research indicated that boredom is significantly more common among 12-year-olds than among 10- and 11-year-olds and is more likely to be found among children who do not often engage in sports activities and those who frequently use social media. Also, contrary to our expectations, there seems to be no gender differences in boredom at this age. According to statistical analyses, children who experienced boredom during the pandemic also experienced feelings of sadness and stress (positive correlation). Several negative correlations emerged between boredom and others variables like: well-being, feelings of happiness, self-satisfaction and the idea of a positive future. The results of this study show that feelings of boredom certainly have to be considered in studies of children's problems.
