Giftedness is a special human manifestation that has in common the exceptionality and is achieved by combining intellectual abilities and special skills with certain personality traits. The gifted student is a subject with an above-average intellectual capacity, observing cognitive differences in quantitative and qualitative level, having a maturity inappropriate to age (perception and visual memory), developing metacognitive ability at an early age, creative talent, intrinsic motivation for learning, precocity. Gifted children need higher education programs or services that are usually found in school curricula in order to contribute to society. These children may be able to achieve high goals, but have not yet demonstrated their potential, so it is important to identify them, encourage them to participate and do great activities with other children, and encourage them to learn effectively.

Coming to understand the complexities of human suffering, illness and pain in a technological environment and in the context of the first attempts to use Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare settings may become a difficult attempt. Medical Humanities introduced as a topic of study in the medical students’ training may be the key to solve a problem that may become a big issue in the years to come. The development of technology along with the digitalization of almost any aspect of our lives may gradually lead to our de-humanization and loss of empathy. When it comes to understanding the patient, the ultimate goal being that of treating his / her disease, fiction may prove to be a major tool in making our students understand the way in which science and arts mingle, raising their interest in understanding the importance of reading and understanding the power of literary texts. Knowing how to interpret literary texts may make it easier for future doctors to understand their patients, to develop their empathy and their skills as good observers. In a world that will make ever more use of AI, future doctors should learn, from an early stage, that they should not rely only on technology, while keeping in mind that the most important aspect of their profession is its human side, while at its core there should always be the patient.

In this study, we briefly highlight the mission of the religion teacher in Romanian schools, in particular, but also of teachers, in general, in a difficult period. For almost two years since the debut of the SARS CoV-2 virus, the pre-university education system has undergone many changes and went through unexpected challenges. In this regard, we recall that teachers have been forced to find solutions, and many have looked after them in the IT field, given that public institutions have applied various restrictions, without creating a viable plan for the education system. However, we hope that the generations of students who have had the misfortune to go through this tough period, will be able to recover and achieve good results. These can be achieved through hard work and sustained effort from those who have the power to make strategic decisions in this regard.

Using language in various circumstances and in various ways helps people to interact with each other and have normal lives. However, there are cases in which the language can undergo certain changes, which can be affected because of a stroke, traumatic brain injury or even a tumour. Recovery in aphasia is a complex long-term and sometimes very demanding action for the patient. The interest for this issue is based, on the one hand, on the importance of studying the action of lesions of the cortical centres involved in the elaboration of written or spoken language, on the other hand about the interaction of speech with other cognitive processes, the interest is due to its social and practical significance in connection with the restoration of full or partial life in such patients. The article is a medical-psycho-pedagogical study on the peculiarities of motor aphasia. A complex psycho-pedagogical program concerning the reduction of language disorders in this pathology is elaborated. The effectiveness of this program is confirmed.

Teaching Romanian as a foreign language has become of great importance in some of the Romanian universities lately, the main reason being the interest of foreign citizens to obtain their degrees in our country. Thus, one of the main challenges of Romanian teachers is the reduction of errors that foreign students might produce during the learning process in order to make them become proficient users of Romanian. The main aim of the paper is to show the errors that students produce while learning Romanian, especially when it comes to the production of written messages, as well as their types, error analysis proving to be a beneficial tool that both teachers and students might use to diminish error numbers and to improve language performance.

The present article takes as a starting point my rich experience in teaching Romanian as a foreign language to students originating in the most diverse parts of the world. The numerous occurrences of various exceptions from the basic morphological and syntactical rules regarding the Romanian definite article are usually both an annoyance and a discouragement for these students, but using concrete examples, I try to show how structural exercises may help in the understanding of the grammatical mechanism, as well as in the formation of automatisms. These types of exercises also help in the simultaneous development of the auditory and phonetic apparatus, as well as in the organization of the lexical units into sentences. This study emphasizes a series of situations of teaching Romanian definite Article and is based on the personal experience, on some observations, examples and solutions of teaching Romanian Grammar to foreign students.

The aim of the article is to justify the role of literature in shaping man’s attitudes towards nature in Polish studies, and to present these issues on the basis of representative interpretations of poetry. Such objectives stem from the social needs of the changes of man’s destructive behavior, as well as from the systemic absence of these problems in Polish studies. It makes use of literature which I perceive as a particularly sensitive tool which enables us to redefine the attitudes which are shaped by culture. The theoretical part of the article discusses biocentric concepts. They challenge the anthropo- centric position of human communities in biosphere, and they are based on the ethics of ecology (ecoethics), meaning observations of systemic relations between man and nature. Ecoethics is not a synonym for ecology, a morally neutral area of science which deals with relations between organisms and nature. In the second part of the article, I depict some examples of interpretations of literary works according to the rules which emerged in research on directions of ethics of ecology (selected poems by J. Przyboś, J. Podsiadło, M. Świetlicki, L.A. Moczulski). The works which appeal to sensual experiences are par- ticularly important. Experiencing beauty seems to play an exceptional role in evoking the readers’ imaginary experiences. Aesthetic influence intensifies ethical influence of litera- ture and other works of culture, including the need to protect nature. It incorporates their ecoethical senses. As a result, a reconciliation between man’s civilisation aspirations and a friendly coexistence in nature does not have to mean utopian aspirations.

In the text, we assumed that the type of secondary school students may differentiate preventive health-oriented behaviors during the COVID-19 pandemic. The aim of the text is to analyze the differences and to adopt recommendations for different types of secondary schools. The results of the study on a sample of 746 people aged 14 to 22 show that students of general secondary schools during the COVID-19 pandemic engage in more health prevention behaviors and have a more positive attitude towards them than students from technical secondary schools and from sectoral vocational schools. We design recommendations for educational practice within the framework of the Health Beliefs Model.

If education were an epistemologically open conceptual construct, then in places going beyond its conceptualism it would point beyond itself to the ineffable, and therefore over-conceptual. Thinking about education through its mediation in the light, power and essence of what appears to be, seems to be an opportunity to participate in different orders of existence. As a consequence, the concept of education, if it points beyond itself, reveals a horizontally dispersed and vertically united, diverse space of a possibly eternal universe. The view of this space, as originally over- and pre-conceptual, eludes all systemic thought yet stemming from it, because it always reveals itself as an over-completeness of what is conceptually conceived. Education therefore appears as ennobling and life-giving participation in various orders of existence. The aim of this article will be to develop the above vision of education in the light of Friedrich Nietzsche’s philosophy, however, supplementing this research with Plato’s philosophy when Nietzsche’s deliberations prove to be insufficient.
