„Techninis žodis“: parašytas, atspausdintas ir įrašy
The article discusses the intrusion of the mechanism into the processes of writing (usually literary writing) and some of its consequences. Without aiming to cover all the cases of technologization of the spoken word (writing to be mentioned above all), the discussion begins in the 19th-century environment of British Romanticists where the mechanism and its related algorithm were first identified as a possible alternative to the creative human consciousness. The research ends with the discussion about the first working mechanism of the technical word – a typewriter – and the transformation of word typing to electromagnetic impulse recording on a computer. The results of the discussion provide an opportunity to speak of a clone of the concept of the technical image of William Flusser in linguistic communication – a technical word.
