In this article, I continue to study the problem of vision in connection with philosophical comprehension of truth in antiquity. I analyze the topic of the relation between knowledge and vision in the philosophical thought of Aristotle. I come to the conclusion that in Aristotle’s philosophy there is an obvious trend of optical understanding of the process of comprehension of the essence of being as a sight of its essence; the idea of knowledge as a vision of the truth and the notion of a knowledgeable person as the one who sees the real state of affairs; the doctrine of practical orientation of a good action as a contemplation of the ultimate goal by “eye of the soul”.

This paper considers the role of local community in the development of tourist industry in small towns. What is the function of the local community in city brands construction and creation of museums and other tourist attractions? What is the influence of such innovations on the social life of a small city? The authors analyze the case of successful development of tourism in the city of Myshkin and discern several strategies of tourist experience production adopted by the local officials and activists. Special attention is paid to the role of the local community in implementation of these strategies by the political leaders and to the tactics of presentation of this community. The combination of different strategies creates spatial, symbolic and economic conditions favorable for the development of tourism, but at the same time entails ambiguous consequences for the local community.

In recent decades the proliferation of museums and the transformation of their activities have become the subjects of debate in the western research. However, there are few studies aimed at understanding of museumification process in Russia. The study of the phenomenon of museumification is relevant due to orientation of the province at tourism development as the means of regional development. The author analyzes the role of museums in the local community and in the attraction of tourists and describes the changes in urbane space and temporal order of social life as the effects of museumification of Russian small towns. On the base of empirical observations the author emphasizes the most significant forms of museumification and defines the limits of this process: everyday practices and the difficult past seem to be its impediments. The research is based on the data collected during the field work in the towns Myshkin and Kargopol.

The author analyzes the ways of presenting of the carried out projects aimed at museumification of the Soviet cultural heritage. The study offers the possible approaches to museumification of “the Soviet” in Russian provinces. Besides, the author conducts a comparative analysis of museum practices in Eastern Europe and Russia. The author points out the local resources which can be used nowadays in order to actualize the Soviet discourse and attract attention to them. The study analyzes the approaches ascribing the popularity of “Soviet” museum projects to nostalgia. The author enumerates the opportunities and ways which can be used to attract the youth. Attention is also paid to the role of the “analog” and the “digital” methods in the creation of museum exhibitions. The variants of a system strategy of museumification of the Soviet heritage at the local, regional, and federal levels are presented in the article.

The article scrutinizes the notion “Impero senza confini”(Empire without borders), its history and place within Italian public discourse. The expression appeared at the first time in the writings of Virgil and ever since is subjected to changes representing national characteristics of Italian people. However, central meaning laid down in Ancient Rome has not changed during history: the concept of universalism as cultural dominance over others. Gradually an expression turned into a notion. Impero senza confini is the last and the most modern variant of it, not limited by political or historical connotations. Considering sociopolitical peculiarities of modern era, the notion is used in a wide range of cases and is commonly recognized in Italian colloquial cultural environment.

По традиции осенью каждого года в Шуе, Юже и Писцове проходят краеведческие конфе- ренции, на которые собираются не только местные знатоки родного края, но и исследователи из дру- гих российских городов. С интервалом около месяца две краеведче- ские конференции традиционно проводятся в бо- гатом славной историей и архитектурными памят- никами городе Шуе. 24 октября 2014 года в местном литературно краеведческом музее К. Д. Бальмонта прошли XVI чтения по региональной казуальной истории «Уездная старина». Среди краеведческой общественности эта конференция носит также не- официальное название «Провинциальный анек- дот», потому что такое название носят сборники сообщений, выходящие по итогам чтений. Конфе- ренции проходят под руководством директора му- зея Н. С. Шептуховской и доктора исторических наук, профессора Ю. А. Иванова.

Обыватель, размышляя над смыслом по- пулярного слова «музеефикация», обратится к простой аналогии со словом «электрификация». Советскому человеку оно хорошо знакомо. В «Со- ветском энциклопедическом словаре» читаем: «электрификация — широкое внедрение в произ- водство и быт электрической энергии… Полная электрификация — основа материально-техниче- ской базы коммунизма»1. Не трудно дать, таким образом, определение понятию «музеефикация»: «музеефикация — есть широкое внедрение музей- ных экспонатов в повседневную жизнь человека» и далее, что особенно важно, «музеефикация — есть основа формирования культурного человека».

This article is devoted to the question of gender stereotypes formation among elder pupils. Are there any definite social roles of men and women at the modern society? Are young people ready to follow these set patterns? These very questions are the basis in this research and give the possibility to find out the beginning of social stereotypes formation among youth. On the base of the modern concept of gender theory and the principles of postmodernism we try to study the processes that take place at the postpuberal phase, at the period when new age identity such as youth is being formed. The results of the study give the possibility to retrace the process of gender roles formation and to find out their importance for the respondents: whether they are satisfied and agree with the existing stereotypes in the society or not.

The article covers criticism of the «ideology death» theories and studies various forms of ideological deception and self-deception and mechanisms of the fictitious escape from ideology. Abstract and mythologized ideas of the ideology functions are contrasted with several principles describing the actual analysis of the actual ideology. The dialectics of growth of ideology knowledge is developed from the principles of the general philosophical epistemology. The article also substantiates the idea of necessity of the “molecular analysis” of ideological structures in everyday life—in particular pieces of advertisement, cinema, everyday language and consciousness.

The article covers self-portrait images of capitalism in literature and cinema. Some important objective laws of capital, power and money functioning in the modern world are established through the example of «Cosmopolis», the similarly named both book and film. The Marxist concept “alienation” is studied with regard to fantasy and worldview of a present-day person. The study of artistic images of capitalism (as a social vampire, necrophile and the architect of «the Matrix») passes into the analysis of inexorable logic of the capital circulation. Yet, is this logic strong and eternal?

This present article highlights haw the writer of Les Illuminés defies the genre of the biography and of the autobiography, transgresses the constraints of the biographical genre and dissimulates the gap between him and his biographies’, story of life and work, hence the lack of boundaries between history and fiction, reality and imagination, true and false. The biography of the other, synonymous with disguised autobiography, becomes in Nervalian aesthetic a personal semantic matrix: from the social to the individual, from the knowledge to the experience, from the historic time to the individual time, from the reality to the fiction and vice versa everything is, to the feather of Nerval, moved or off-centered.

A literary and spiritual document, Vasile Alecsandri’s travel writings constitute the subject of this paper. Apart from their value in terms of education and pleasure, they reveal the psychological structure of the traveler, his attitude towards life, as well as his capacity to artistically transform the real events he experienced. Moreover, travel writings attract interest from an esthetic point of view; thus, given that the pilgrim Alecsandri maked the genre flourish, it marked an important sector in the literature of the 1848 revolutionary period. The present analytical-interpretative study of its most characteristic aspects highlights descriptions, portraits, the writer’s irony, lyricism, his talent and, even more importantly, his constant involvement in the national and social struggle of this agitated epoch – the involvement of a patriot devoted to his country. All the reasons stated above suggest that Alecsandri’s prose constitutes a major chapter in his creation, travel memoirs being the most significant part of this prose. Writing about Alecsandri as a prose writer means, first and foremost, considering the interpretations of memoir literature, on the one hand, and the constants of its subject matter, on the other.

Sufism is the mystical path of Islam, also known as the Way of the Heart which implies being in love with God, without attachment to anything besides Him. Sufi mystics assert the possibility of knowing God through direct experience, not through reason, which revolves in the orbit of the material plane, unable to know the secrets of the divine world. Trying to put into words their experiences, Sufis have created ecstatic poems designed to express divine love, the proximity to the Loved and Beloved one.

From a stoical perspective, the Senecan tragedies are the field on which man confronts his destiny in a battle between ira and furor, on the one hand, and reason on the other. Seneca’s plays focus on extreme circumstances and pathological characters. From a visual, macabre viewpoint, Senecan characters belong to the category of the monstrous. They are actors in a lugubrious performance and should be analysed not based on the criteria of sanity, but those of insanity that goes beyond the limits of a troubled human mind. Seneca creates an astounding aesthetic category of diabolical male and female prototypes. His characters gradually give up their human features and culminate in a terrifying demonic representation for which both the playwright and his audience had a peculiar kind of admiration. The shocking macabre side of Seneca’s tragedies intensifies the act of killing, the symbol of revenge and the concepts of dolor, ira, furor, nefas and fatum with which murder blends naturally and indissolubly and which are embodied in emblematic characters like Medea and Thyestes. The feast of male cruelty follows the fascinating female demonic performance ending with the metamorphosis of the witch. In opposition to the blood that boils in the characters’ mind and soul, sanguis, the blood that will flow too slowly from Seneca’s veins, will become the symbol of death seen not as a tragic end, but moral and spiritual emancipation.

New words are the carriers of new realities that circumscribe as many worlds, universes or realities. The word hipster (i.e. a relatively popular, familiar youth worldwide), opens a number of issues related to addressing the phenomenon from a linguistic, sociolinguistic, psycholinguistic and economic perspective. Thus, we are faced with a phenomenon, a product of subculture, which makes its presence felt through the macro culture by aspects of lexis, mentalities, attitudes and behaviour. In terms of linguistics, hipster language itself may present interest (because it generates a certain mentality), and so do the terms designating hipster speak, i.e. loans from English, entering the Romanian language, and other languages, their adaptation to the language system, their productivity and any stylistic values. This linguistic fashion indicates a social pattern that requires an analysis of the phenomenon from a cultural, linguistic and, last but not least, an economic point of view.
