Gombrowicz is one of the most important polish writer of the twentieth century, who criticised the polish literatural canon from the inside. Pálfalvi's book is really important, not only because in hungarian area just a few study deal with Gombrowicz, but also his work contains common lessons too , like methodology of writing history of literature, the social role of literature, the inside dynamic of modernism and the special nature of the central-european literature.

Dobos István's Az olvasás esemény titled book is very important in the view of literary comprehension. The author's attention spread from the begining of the 20th century to the contemporary literature. He analyze the storytelling works depending on consistently elaborated criteria, and with that, he fulfill the expectations of monography genre.
