Short Description

The aim of the periodical AUC Theologica is to publish papers covering the full range of the field of theology, including both classical theological topics and the propedeutical and auxiliary scientiae sacrae. Theologica is run by an international Editorial Board based at the Catholic Theological Faculty (KTF) of Charles University in Prague. It is a part of the series Acta Universitatis Carolinae which is published by the Karolinum publishing house. Theologica continues the tradition of the earlier publishing activity of the KTF: during the period 1998-2008, there appeared ten volumes of a series called Sborník Katolické teologické fakulty (KTF Proceedings) and two volumes of the Opera Facultatis theologiae catholicae Universitatis Carolinae Pragensis theologica et philosophica. AUC Theologica appears twice a year. Each volume consists of three sections. In the first, entitled Theme, selected specialists give their views on issues that are stipulated in advance. The second, Miscellaneous, contains contributions on a variety of different topics. The final section, Reports and Reviews, provides additional insights into events in the theological field both in the Czech Republic and internationally. AUC Theologica publishes articles not only by the academic and research staff of the KTF, but also by other researchers. Articles included in the first two sections are peer reviewed by two experts in the field, with neither side being aware of the identity of the other.
