Short Description
Mathematics, Computer Science and Education is an academic journal published by the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics of St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo. It comes out twice a year and publishes original results of scientific and scientific-applied studies in the fields of mathematics, computer science, education and their interaction. The journal is designed for researchers, programmers, teachers, students, and users. It aims to encourage contacts and discussions between them.
The thematic scope of the journal includes:
- Computer Science, Hardware and Architecture;
- Computer Science and Information Systems;
- Computer Science and Interdisciplinary Applications;
- Computer Science, Software Engineering;
- Computer Science, Theory and Methods;
- Applied Mathematics;
- Education and Educational Research.
The journal’s focus is on papers about research and practical experience in its thematic scope of regional importance:
- Methods, good practices in software development in various domains in order to support the development of software companies at the regional level;
- Methods, good practices in the development of hardware systems in order to support the development of IT companies at the regional level;
- Methods, good practices in teaching Mathematics, Informatics, and Information Technology from the point of view of education in Bulgaria and the Balkans.
The journal is open access.
Authors are not required to pay any publication fees.
