Short Description

"Justice and Human Rights" is a peer-reviewed specialized edition on scientific and scientific-practical issues in the field of justice and human rights protection. It is intended for the wider legal community of researchers, legal practitioners, PhD students and Law students. It aims to provide an opportunity to discuss both legal theoretical and practical issues as well as sociological, political and economic aspects of law. As of March 2023, Justice and Human Rights magazine is published online in open access to articles twice a year.

 

Editorial board

Ass. Prof. Dr. Boyka Tcherneva is a lecturer in the disciplines International Protection of Human Rights, General Theory of Law, Legal Psychology and Sociology of Law at the Law Faculty of UNWE and the Law Faculty of Veliko Tarnovo University "St. Kliment Ohridski". St. Cyril and Methodius". He is the author of the monographs "Legal obligation", "Concept of fundamental rights (a European legal tradition), "Jurisprudence and legisprudence. The institutional context of law."

 

Ass. Prof. Dr. Hristina Atanasova has taught at the Higher School of Insurance and Finance – Sofia. Judge at the Court of Arbitration at the European Judicial Court. Her research interests are in the field of commercial and insurance law. He is the author of a number of scientific articles and reports, as well as textbooks and teaching aids.  She has been teaching at the D.A. Tsenov Academy of Economics – Svishtov, at the Law Faculty of UNWE, since 2019. is a registered lawyer at the Sofia Bar Association.

 

Ass. Prof. Dr. Petya Mitreva is a lecturer in Criminal Law at the Law Faculty of UNWE. He is the author of the monographs "Criminal Law and Procedural Problems of Punishment Determination" and "Limits of Criminal Responsibility for Criminal Motivation and Criminal Facilitation of Others", as well as articles and scientific reports on issues of criminal law protection against discrimination. Since 2017, a lawyer has been registered with the Sofia Bar Association.

 

Ch. As. Dr. Adelina Hadzhiyska is a lecturer in Criminal Procedure Law at the Law Faculty of UNWE and Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabur". He is the author of the monograph ,,Judicial Acts in Criminal Procedure", as well as a number of articles and reports in the field of criminal procedure law. Since 2015 he has been registered as a lawyer at the Sofia Bar Association.
