Short Description
"Annals of Cultural Studies" were created in 2010. They are related to the Institute of Cultural Studies at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin and enter into the issue of all aspects of culture, with particular emphasis on the arts and religion, in order to make a modest contribution to the understanding of man and his cultural activities. The Annals are characterized by a distinct philosophical foundation and a multidisciplinary approach. Without forgetting the experience and achievements of the past, they examine specific contemporary problems. Since 2013 they were transformed into a quarterly, of which the individual books focus on selected topics (eg, Culture and violence, The Apocrypha in the culture) and one miscellany. The editors hope that the publications included therein develop and enhance Polish culture in the theoretical and practical dimensions as well as individual and social ones.
