Short Description
The “Diplomatic Papers” Journal was established in 2013 and is dedicated to the studying and valorisation of documentary sources of Romanian diplomatic history. The Journal is published annually and is structured in three sections. The first one contains studies in diplomatic history, most of them based on newly discovered documents. The second publishes historical diplomatic documents, most of them previously unpublished or largely unknown. The documents are accompanied by an introduction, which is essential to the understanding of the context and meaning of these sources. The Journal publishes texts pertaining to diplomatic history between the 17th to the 20th century. The third section comprises of reviews and bibliographic notes. All texts submitted for publication undergo a peer-review process.
