Summary/Abstract: The toolkit serves as a user-friendly, easy-to-read guide about key aspects of energy poverty with policy recommendations. It aims to put energy poverty on the agenda be-cause it is a key issue North Macedonia is facing which will further increase in times of energy crisis and in the context of the energy transition. The EU-led energy transition aims to leave no one behind; therefore, it is high time to remove the stigma around recognizing energy poverty and consider the transition as an opportunity not only to fight climate change but rethink the current energy system, demand institutional good governance, and promote citizen-focused energy projects.
