Summary/Abstract: This handbook aims to provide clear and understandable information on the various solutions and resources available to victims of domestic violence in BiH. It provides answers to questions that victims or potential victims of domestic violence may have. Domestic violence is one of the dominant forms of violence against women, and it is important to view it from the perspective of the victim, in order to break down existing stereotypes and prejudices. The information provided here is mainly based on the specific legal framework of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the various entity regulations related to domestic violence. It also provides a list of available resources (helplines, free legal aid offices, safe houses and other relevant actors) for victims of domestic violence. This handbook has been forwarded to institutions working with victims and potential victims of domestic violence (civil society organizations, police, courts, victim advocacy offices, safe houses, social work centers) to use it as a tool to help them provide clear answers to questions related to domestic violence.
