Summary/Abstract: Strategic thinking on improving media and information literacy in Bosnia and Herzegovina is based on research and development, and information gathered through a comprehensive scientific research and consultation process with all key actors in Bosnia and Herzegovina led by the Institute for Social Science Research, Faculty of Political Science, University of Sarajevo over four years (2017-2020). Horizontal and vertical integration of media and information literacy into society, and, above all, into the education system through the Hybrid model of multicomponent integration is a feasible and sustainable process as an optimal model of public policy intervention. Certainly, the relevant ministries and institutes need to create a stimulating (strategic) framework for implementation.
