Summary/Abstract: The article is an attempt to present how the perception of closely relations between a human and animals may encourage a school interpretation. The author points out that teacher is capable of enlarging and deepening knowledge and hobbies of his/her pupils by adopting a cross-disciplinary attitude in a Polish literature lesson. Moreover, the changing of the perspective of view (from the anthropocentric to the zoocentric), will be conducive to the pupils’ creative thinking while solve problems, and empathy.
