Summary/Abstract: A collection of articles on the practices of creation and analysis of texts on the borderland of literature and biographical writing. The authors undertook interdisciplinary research on personal documents, confronting the interpretative approaches in social sciences, philosophy and literary studies. In addition to the theoretical considerations on the textological studies of sociocultural phenomena, the volume contains analyses of the relationships between the life and works in the writings of Jerzy Pilch, Henryk Elzenberg, Stanisława Przybyszewska, Gerhart Hauptmann and Andrzej Bystroń.
