Summary/Abstract: The article attempts to answer the question on stereotypes and representation of the disabled teenage girls in Polish prose for young readers. The author notices connections between gender studies and disability studies, in particular the problem of doubled stigmatisation, due tosex and disability. Thus, she analyses selected works of Barbara Wiza, Barbara Ciwoniuk and Barbara Odnous.
