Summary/Abstract: In the present research, the legislative framework on the formal requirements of the handwritten testament is thoroughly analyzed. A comparative study is included which examines the requirements of the types of wills and their statutory regulations. A specific proposal de lege ferenda for improving the legal framework in this part of the Succession Act.
