Summary/Abstract: The paper discusses some aspects of perpetual usufruct, including municipal revenues in Poland. The institution of perpetual usufruct is one form of public real estate management and it was introduced in 1961, when the dominant form of property rights was the state ownership. Current regulations differ from the the original, but it continues to play an important role in the system of property rights and on various aspects of social and economic life.
