Summary/Abstract: The armed conflict in Ukraine represents one of the most significant manifestations of contemporary warfare and an essential case study for understanding the profound transformations of national security and defense. This article examines Ukraine’s resilience in the context of large-scale military aggression, highlighting the ways in which it has contributed to maintaining state functionality and strategic endurance. The primary objective of the research is to identify the key dimensions of Ukrainian resilience and to assess their implications for the consolidation of national defense within the contemporary security environment. The analysis demonstrates that Ukraine’s resilience results from the coherent interaction of military, societal, institutional, economic, and external dimensions. Doctrinal flexibility, social cohesion, continuity of governance, the adaptation of the economy to wartime conditions, and allied support have constituted decisive factors of state resistance. The findings underscore the necessity of an integrated and multidimensional approach to national defense, providing a relevant analytical framework for states seeking to adapt their security strategies to the realities of contemporary conflict.
