Summary/Abstract: The paper explores cultural mediation as a social and political practice that transforms the way we understand integration, security, and civic participation in contemporary societies. Using the example of the Language Buddy project, it demonstrates how education can become a space of trust and dialogue, where difference is not a threat but a source of collective energy. Within the framework of European and national migration policies, the analysis argues for rethinking politics as a process of co-creating meaning rather than exercising unilateral power. Cultural mediation thus emerges as a bridge between individual experience and the public sphere, between human vulnerability and collective responsibility.
