Summary/Abstract: Since the establishment of the United Nations (UN) before eight decades, the international community has experienced various changes, including the role of regional organizations like the European Union (EU). This paper explores the significance of a complex and intensely debated topic, namely agriculture, on the EU agenda. It studies the significance of agriculture in the EU trade with countries around the world. Both the export and the import are reviewed. The results show the comparison between five aspects that examine fluctuations. This publication can be interesting for readers at the intersection between trade and agriculture.
