Summary/Abstract: The flipped classroom model is one of the most promising tools used in higher education. In it, the traditional learning process is flipped – students are given the opportunity to independently prepare for the relevant topic, and during real classes, discussions are held, tasks are solved, case studies are analysed and projects are developed. The report presents the essence of the model and discusses the possibilities for its application in the field of higher education and, more specifically, in teaching international economics and business. The author argues that the model is a successful strategy for modernizing education in this area.
