Summary/Abstract: Global supply chain relationships with business partners, originating from countries with different levels of economic and social development, raise the need to focus on human rights, health and safety, and quality of life of the employees. Therefore, in recent years the concept of corporate social responsibility is more and more widely used in practice. The report presents the essence of this concept in the context of global supply chain management and through examples of best practice reveals the opportunities for companies to achieve lasting success
