Summary/Abstract: The article examines the issue of assessment in private mathematics tutoring, emphasizing the key differences from classroom evaluation. It highlights the diagnostic and formative functions of assessment and proposes a set of methods adapted to individualized contexts: systematic observation, short oral and written tests, guided exercises, micro-portfolios, exit-tickets, and digital technologies. The study argues for the organic integration of assessment into the instructional process to optimize time and personalize pedagogical interventions.
