Summary/Abstract: The article analyzes the literary and biographical activity of the interwar Bessarabian writer Lotis Dolënga (Elizabeta Eliade), emphasizing the necessity of a historical and value-based recovery. The objectives of the article aim to reconstruct the author's biographical path–providing information on her birth date and place, literary pseudonym, the genres she engaged with, and her active period until her death in 1961 in Bucharest; to highlight her stylistic and thematic contributions by uncovering the “informational layer” made up of genealogical and personal details; and to argue for her integration into the Romanian literary landscape through the recontextualization of her work and her position in Bessarabian literary criticism.
