Summary/Abstract: I have tried in this work to present the typology of Romanian Orthodox spirituality. There are a multitude of saints who can make up a purely Romanian calendar. I have briefly presented spiritual personalities with holy life and thought, who are the emblems of an authentic Christian experience, lovers of liturgy and the sacred word. Finally, I have mentioned a name, quite forgotten by the ecclesiastical institution, but who was a mountain of prayer of the heart and of living in asceticism, Father Arsenie Praja. Perhaps someday, posterity will give him the place he deserves in the calendar of Romanian holiness.
