Summary/Abstract: The aim of this chapter is to examine the development of the food transport sector in Poland, with particular focus on legal and technological aspects. The study is based on a literature review and an analysis of current legal regulations, including the ATP agreement and national provisions concerning food safety and nutrition. The results indicate that modern technologies—such as GPS monitoring systems, alternative propulsion methods, and advanced transport management techniques—have a significant impact on the efficiency and safety of food transport. Most of the surveyed companies are consciously investing in innovative solutions, recognizing their potential to reduce operational costs and improve service quality. A limitation of the study is its reliance primarily on secondary data. The findings have important practical implications for transport companies, supporting their investment decisions, as well as social relevance, emphasizing the importance of safe food transport for public health. The chapter constitutes an original attempt to combine legal and technological perspectives in the analysis of food transport in Poland.
