Summary/Abstract: The collision between caring for the common good and individual rights isa problem faced by modern societies. This article is an attempt to define the concept of the common good and the concept of individual rights. According to the author, this collision has an impact on project management in the field of spatial development. Many public entities such as local governments, schools and many other institutions as well as the state implement many programs and projects aimed at improving the quality of public space and improving the quality of life of people living in it. These projects are often integrated and cover large areas. In these areas, the real estate owner is not only public entities but also private individuals. These people often do not want to participate in these projects. Such behavior often prevents the implementation of the whole project, which may affect the assumed urban, architectural, social or economic goals. In this case, there is a collision between the common good which is the public space and the property right. It is very difficult to avoid such a collision or limit its effects. It is necessary to plan, in the project management process, mechanisms that will reconcile these collisions in a balanced way.
