Summary/Abstract: Almost since the beginning of the 21st century, there have been transformational processes in the labour market, driven primarily by advances in technology, but also by globalisation and demographic change. These processes are expected to become increasingly significant and have far-reaching implications for economic growth, productivity, and employment. This study aims to examine the extent and manner in which technological progress and the changing nature of work are expected to affect economic growth and productivity, and to identify the key factors that mark the transformation of the labour market. In addition, the study covers the challenges and opportunities associated with these changes, including the potential of technological advances to raise productivity and increase economic growth, as well as the potential for job displacement and inequality. Finally, the study identifies policies and strategies that can help promote sustainable and inclusive economic growth in the face of ongoing labour market transformation.
